Dr. Peñgarícano is a Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Georgetown University in 1988 and his medical degree from UCCEM in Puerto Rico in 1992. Dr. Peñagarícano completed his residency training in Radiation Oncology in 1996 at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. Current clinical interests include pediatric, gastrointestinal and head & neck malignancies. Research interests include novel delivery of total body irradiation, spatially fractionated radiation therapy, and low-dose fractionated radiation therapy.
